The following are a few ideas for experiences “out of the ordinary” and that we warmly recommend.

	Florence is a walkers' city. No point of interest in downtown Florence is more than 15/20 minutes on foot from any other. Nonetheless, a visit to a city like Florence, with all its complex, dramatic history and its enormous wealth of artistic treasures, requires much more than the company of a good pocket tour guide. 	Villas and parks. If you have an extra day to visit the city and/or region, we’d like to suggest an unusual tour: a visit to the parks and villas of Florence and Tuscany, best in the spring. 	Florence and Tuscany from overhead (… in a balloon!). This is a unique experience: rising gently off the ground, floating in the breeze over Tuscany, to observe its historical cities and lovely vineyards from a different  viewpoint. 	Wellness. Why not opt for a personal trainer to take you on a morning job around the city’s monuments and along the avenues leading to Piazzale Michelangelo? The best time is between 6:30 and 7:30 am, for a minimum of 20 minutes. 	Sala degli Specchi - Screening Room. Ideal for movie lovers or music lovers, as well as for other events, we have this magnificent area with a giant high definition plasma screen that is particularly enjoyable for watching entertainment.   Showings for our guests will be held punctually at the specified times, when the room is not engaged for other events.
	I Prefer. I Prefer is the “Guest Benefit Program” of the Preferred Hotel Group with which the Plaza Hotel Lucchesi is affiliated as a member of the Summit Hotels & Resorts group.
